Completely self-protected (CSP) distribution transformers carry their protection inside the tank, immersed in oil: on the secondary, a thermal-magnetic breaker that trips on overload (bimetal) and short circuit, externally operated by handle; and on the high-voltage side, a fault interrupter that isolates the transformer from the line.
