The de-energized tap changer (DETC) adjusts the transformer ratio to deliver the correct secondary voltage. It is operated with the transformer offline, from outside the tank.
We carry Eaton Cooper Power Series 100 to 300 A, 35 kV externally-operated tap changers, in single- and three-phase versions, plus their hardware kits (lever, index plate, gasket and nut) for tap-changer and dual-voltage switches, including the Spanish-labeled index plate.
